Greene Lake Ranch

The Green Lake Ranch is a tremendous recreational hunting property and livestock ranch.  It comprises a total land area of +/-5,453 acres and the owner may considering dividing the ranch into smaller properties with all having highway frontage.  The ranch is served with 14 water wells including 6 that are windmill wells and 6 that are served with electric submersible pumps.  It also includes 35 water troughs, several scattered small tanks, as well as a +12 acre pond and a +2.5 acre pond.  Improvements on the ranch include one large set of cattle working pens with a scale and several metal storage buildings.  The ranch also includes an extensive network of roads with most being gravel roads.  This low fenced ranch is divided into several interior pastures with cross fencing that is in fair condition.  The soils on the ranch are about one-third Laewest clay, about one-third Dacosta clay loam, and about one-third soils from the Dacosta-Contee complex. The ranch is all native pastureland with some scattered open areas and dense areas of mesquite and huisache brush along with many scattered large oak trees and other species.  Wild game on the Green Lake Ranch include whitetail deer, quail, turkey, and dove.
